From May 29th to June 1st, 2023，Drs. Qiyun Zhu, Apeng Chen, and Shuai Xu, together with Ms. Juan Zhang, the postgraduate management officer, went to the University of Gothenburg to implement the International Exchange Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Project No.: 32111530226) and carry out research on postgraduate education and training, by the invitation of Dr. Davide Angeletti, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

During the visit, both sides reported on scientific research progress, planned potential international cooperation projects application, exchanged experience in postgraduate education and management, and visited Zhaoshan Chen, a doctoral candidate funded by the China Scholarship Council.

Through the visit, both sides further understood their respective research fields and expertise, condensed the critical content of future cooperation, and learned and summarized the experience of postgraduate training and management system of internationally renowned universities. Both agreed that strengthening academic exchanges and discussions, resource sharing, and using their respective platforms and technological advantages will promote the scientific research progress in viral immunology and result in high-level research findings.
